Job Description:
We are seeking a Benefits Administrator to join our team to assist with the administration of health and welfare plans and leave of absence processing for over 30,000 US based employees. The role is based at our corporate headquarters in Willow Grove, PA and reports to the Assistant Manager, Health and Leave Administration.
We are looking for a dynamic self-starter with the ability to work independently yet be a significant collaborator on team projects. This individual should be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills. Our desired candidate must possess the ability to problem solve and contribute creative solutions. We are seeking an individual capable of identifying opportunities to improve internal processes and policies. The ability to handle a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and crucial deadlines is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate processing of employee benefit information across multiple system interfaces including HRIS, payroll, benefit enrollment and insurance carriers.
- Run and interpret reports; update data in HRIS and benefit enrollment systems.
- Help develop and maintain benefit processing procedures.
- Gain and apply an understanding of the plan design including coverage levels and options, eligibility, enrollment/change, and termination procedures.
- Assist in processing required governmental reporting and notifications related to employee benefits.
- Assist with updating vacation and leave program summaries.
- Other projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to gain a strong understanding of the administrative process as it relates to employee health and welfare benefits and leave administration.
- Some experience working with employee benefits or general HR preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools with an emphasis on Excel
- Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
