Hi-Rail Operator w/ CDL

 

Job Description 

Asplundh Railroad Division currently has nationwide openings for Hi-Rail Operators to work for our Railroad Division based out of the Ironton, OH facility.  Operators will spray invasive vegetation from a Hi-Rail Vehicle and be responsible for daily activity reports, chemical mixing, inventory, customer service and overall performance of job duties as instructed while ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently. Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a CDL (Class A or B) with Tank endorsement            
  • Good Motor Vehicle Driving Record
  • Willing to Travel throughout the US for a minimum of 4-6 weeks at a time
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Must pass DOT physical
  • Must pass criminal background check through eRailSafe

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years commercial driving experience (dual axle straight truck a plus)
  • 2+ years herbicide application experience
  • 2+ years railroad experience
  • State pesticide applicators license (any state)
  • Mechanical abilities
