Commercial Driver
Job Description
Asplundh Railroad Division currently has nationwide openings for CDL Drivers to work for our Railroad Division based out of the Ironton, OH facility. Drivers will operate a variety of specialized trucks which include Hi-Rail and off-track vehicles. These vehicles are used to spray invasive vegetation on and around railroad tracks throughout the USA. Drivers will be responsible for daily activity reports, chemical mixing, inventory, customer service and overall performance of job duties as instructed while ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently. Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a CDL (Class A or B) with Tank endorsement
- Good Motor Vehicle Driving Record
- Willing to Travel throughout the US for a minimum of 4-6 weeks at a time
- Ability to work independently
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
- Must pass DOT physical
- Must pass criminal background check through eRailSafe
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- 2+ years commercial driving experience (dual axle straight truck a plus)
- Mechanical abilities
