IT - Sr. Enterprise System Administrator 

The Senior Enterprise System Administrator is a key role responsible for managing user accounts, maintaining system performance, configuring system settings, solving technical issues, securing the system, assessing modern technology, creating policies and procedures, and providing user training. Familiarity with various operating systems and SaaS-based applications, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing situations are also essential. Certifications related to the role are a plus. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and security of enterprise systems, making it a critical component of the IT landscape

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Manage user accounts: Create and manage user profiles and access rights. 
  • Maintain systems: Keep systems running smoothly by monitoring performance and making necessary adjustments. 
  • Configure and manage system settings: Oversee and manage systems to ensure data meets customer requirements, including data and document retrieval. 
  • Solve technical issues: Troubleshoot and resolve system outages and other problems, in conjunction with internal staff and enterprise application vendor. 
  • Secure the solution: Protect systems, ensuring proper controls, security, and backups are in place. 
  • Assess modern technology: Evaluate new software and hardware to find valuable tools for internal customers. 
  • Create policies and procedures: Work with related functional teams to develop policies, procures and support effective business processes. 
  • Provide user training: Develop helpful documentation and provide training to support maximum utilization of the application. 

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent work experience. 
  • At least 3 years of experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role. 
  • Proficient in various enterprise systems and applications. Experience in document management solutions (ex: iManage, Hyland’s Perceptive solution) and process management/workflow solutions (ex: Nintex) a plus. 
  • Proven record of accomplishment in managing data privacy and security in the handling of legal documentation or data.
